2Days/1Night Weekend Getaway

PART ONE

just came back from Batam yesterday, went on a 2Days/1Night trip with my part.
PS: part means partner also known as Karen, she was my part in my sec dayz… sitting & standing next to me for 2 yrs.. lolx

this is my update w/o picz 1st.. cos most picz for the 1st day is wz karen, i only have some from my hp...

21Jul’07,
time check 7.30am, woke up and have a final pack for my weekend getaway…
Meeting part at her hse there at 8.30am, as her fren is driving us to the Tahan Merah Ferry Terminal.
He drove a 2 door Nissan vintage car…. (Err sorry pple, I dunno the model..) the 1st thing is say was.. oh no.. 我座得了吗？(in hokkien). The vintange car looks nice… and 車頂有窗口的.. can see the sky.. keekee… but we didn’t lar.. cos rushing liao.. lolx

wen reaching there we rush to the ticket counter to collect our boarding pass… luckily we’re still in time… cos ferry is at 10.30am lolx, since there is still time left, so part went for a puff…
saw a guy quite good looking from far at 1st… 是有形的but when we went pass him the 2nd time, we decided to take back our words…as from near.. he looks ok only... errmmm ok lar.. -_-

actually before reaching the terminal, Karen was complaining on her last trip to this terminal, there is nothing there & is very KU~…
but this time it was like… wow.. cos killiney kopitiam is also there.. & inside there's the DFS shop… a mini one..

we a going to have a relaxing spa trip, so bought Piper-Heidsieck Rosé Sauvage Brut Champagne at the counter.. which cost abt S$50+

the ferry boarding pass looks cute.. like a Ezlink card.. hahaha…

(but muz return, so only took photo of it.) . Errmm.. the coming back one looks normal.. just a piece of paper!! -_-

i was so hungry, that i bought a bread @ the mama shop to munch on board...

when we reach the resort at around 12+ as the journey from the Nongsa ferry terminal to the resort take abt 30mins…

our room was a sea facing dlx room, #451... once checked in, we deceided to go for our lunch.. since we are hungry liao… & time check was already 12+, it was a buffet lunch...

oh.. our pkg incls 1night stay, 1 breakfast, lunch & dinner for 2, a 180min spa for 2 person, ferry tkts & 2way trfs from ferry terminal to hotel, vice versa.

well, at 1st the lunch looks good... ok i mean it LOOKs good... as a simple spread for a resort... but -_- the taste of it... suckz!!! =(

the cooked fish LOOKs ok, but taste weird.. & there's bean sprouts... i saw 2 different dishes of bean sprouts... also i've never tasted kang kong without chili... we believed that it was boiled with water.. lolx

halfway thru the meal, lots of pple came in for lunch.. seems like it on a convention de.. cos all wearing pass.. suddenly we realised the time that we wen in for lunch was only 11+ then (batam time) haiz... so we have an early lunch.. of what we call it here..

after our lunch, we were quite depressing... over lunch & also it's raining... never the less.. we still wen for a walk... in the rain.. wahahha (we were hoping to get sick in some way i think)

there was an event going on behind the the resort... some pple are singing there...

and the beach is nearby too... saw pple playing watersport there... we walk back to the room after awhile...

while laying around in the room... part open up the balcony door for some puff... & while she was doing that, i on the TV.. & guest wat.. they have HBO, Channel V on their list... but Channel V's image was not that good... as the pic was half here half there... err.. sorry, don't really know how to xplain on this... so instead of watching TV, we listen to TV lor... lolz

i almost doze off then karen scream while jumping on her bed...

"BANANA BOAT!!!.... i wanna sit that... " i almost fainted when i heard that... i was never a water sport person... & i got pulled by her to play this.... it cost S$5 per person & min. 3 person to go... if less than 3, we'll hv to pay for 3 person too.. end up we paid S$7.50 per person for this ride.

the ride was abt 20mins... while we were waiting for our turn... we saw the group of gals when b4 us came back on the boat.. & suddenly they were all fallen into the sea.. (the guy who drove the speed boat did it on purpose, the 2 of us was in shock.. as we didn't prepare oursleves to get all wet!! after we went up on the Banana Boat, Karen told them that she can't swim.. & i saw my spect is at your office so i can't see...

so here we go... the scene was good lar.. (keke i still can see abit lar... altho it's blur a bit)

but the sea water is very saltish... & wen it splash onto our face.. was so painfull... we almost let go.. cos of the speed & the splashes.. but dare not let go also... keke

haiz... so sleepy now... will continue the story tml...

wz the after 180mins spa/ dinner / rubbish food & the Sunday event...
