2Days/1Night Weekend Getaway

PART TWO

(Our room... starts to get messy liao...)

<--- my wet look..wahahah.... after the Banana boat ride!

the spa took us 3hrs in total...

Body Massage / Bust Treatment / Bath / Face Massage / Drink

the picz of Karen & me.. wz our drinks after the spa.... @ 6.30pm (Batam time)

the color & the look of her coffee & my ginger tea... but when we try the taste, hahhaa it was not that bad at all..

while having the spa... we was totally in hunger... lolx.. our stomach grinding during the spa liao...

we rush back to our room to get dinner vchr! Dinner is at the Kelong Restaurant...

well... i should say that we like the place but not the food of this resort.

haiz... i really dunno how to say.. even karen feel the same too...

the menu for our seafood dinner looks ok... untill the food was servered...

dunno wat tofu dish... but the tofu is sliced very thin... see-->

and we have 2 crabs too... but i really... really dunno wat to say.... karen say that she can't bare to eat the crab & for me.. i also dunno how to eat also... cos the claws is only the size of my finger only...

compare to my feast at Jumbo ther other day.. (pls refer to the blog i wrote on 01Jul, and u will know)

after this DINNER of ours... we went back to the hotel.. & say their staff selling popcorns.... so end up, we bought 2 packages of popcorns for supper... -_-!!

YES... our supper is popcorns & also the rose champagne...

Days 2

both of us acutally though that we will have a long day rest and set the alarms at 11am..

but think the 2 of us have 勞碌命.. we woke up at 7am (SIN time), yes.. 7am.. we almost fainted.. which we wish we could.

i think we really act like spoilt adults... having another cup of champagne wz our empty stomach... opps... we did went down for breakfast after that..
hmm... the only meal that is nice in the hotel... is BREAKFAST!!!

slacking around at the resort till 11+(batam time)

and went over to batam centre ferry terminal to arrange our departure ferry & collect our boarding pass.

the new MEGA mall is just right opposit the ferry terminal.

walking over from the bridge.. we saw that BREADTALK's branch was set up there...

yes... OMG... they have breadtalk, A&W and J.Co donuts too...

this brighten up our day there...

hahaha... Karen wanted to take a photo here.. & the couple behind her keep looking at us.. & muz be thinking that these 2 woman are mad... A&W only, so happy meh, still take photo some more..

we are fascinated when we see this... heard that this is the largest donut empire in Indonesia....

but of cos Krispy Kreme will still win lar... hee hee hee.... thks to CK with his surprise to chiuru.... ^0^

meet Windy for lunch & she drove us around & we got some local tibits to bring back...

oh.. we went to Windy's hse to take a look too... haven't seen her hse before, as my last trip was in 2004...

hahhaa... this' all for now.. hahhaa... if got any new photos will update into the blog...

2Days/1Night Weekend Getaway

PART ONE

just came back from Batam yesterday, went on a 2Days/1Night trip with my part.
PS: part means partner also known as Karen, she was my part in my sec dayz… sitting & standing next to me for 2 yrs.. lolx

this is my update w/o picz 1st.. cos most picz for the 1st day is wz karen, i only have some from my hp...

21Jul’07,
time check 7.30am, woke up and have a final pack for my weekend getaway…
Meeting part at her hse there at 8.30am, as her fren is driving us to the Tahan Merah Ferry Terminal.
He drove a 2 door Nissan vintage car…. (Err sorry pple, I dunno the model..) the 1st thing is say was.. oh no.. 我座得了吗？(in hokkien). The vintange car looks nice… and 車頂有窗口的.. can see the sky.. keekee… but we didn’t lar.. cos rushing liao.. lolx

wen reaching there we rush to the ticket counter to collect our boarding pass… luckily we’re still in time… cos ferry is at 10.30am lolx, since there is still time left, so part went for a puff…
saw a guy quite good looking from far at 1st… 是有形的but when we went pass him the 2nd time, we decided to take back our words…as from near.. he looks ok only... errmmm ok lar.. -_-

actually before reaching the terminal, Karen was complaining on her last trip to this terminal, there is nothing there & is very KU~…
but this time it was like… wow.. cos killiney kopitiam is also there.. & inside there's the DFS shop… a mini one..

we a going to have a relaxing spa trip, so bought Piper-Heidsieck Rosé Sauvage Brut Champagne at the counter.. which cost abt S$50+

the ferry boarding pass looks cute.. like a Ezlink card.. hahaha…

(but muz return, so only took photo of it.) . Errmm.. the coming back one looks normal.. just a piece of paper!! -_-

i was so hungry, that i bought a bread @ the mama shop to munch on board...

when we reach the resort at around 12+ as the journey from the Nongsa ferry terminal to the resort take abt 30mins…

our room was a sea facing dlx room, #451... once checked in, we deceided to go for our lunch.. since we are hungry liao… & time check was already 12+, it was a buffet lunch...

oh.. our pkg incls 1night stay, 1 breakfast, lunch & dinner for 2, a 180min spa for 2 person, ferry tkts & 2way trfs from ferry terminal to hotel, vice versa.

well, at 1st the lunch looks good... ok i mean it LOOKs good... as a simple spread for a resort... but -_- the taste of it... suckz!!! =(

(see how much food we left.. lolx)

the cooked fish LOOKs ok, but taste weird.. & there's bean sprouts... i saw 2 different dishes of bean sprouts... also i've never tasted kang kong without chili... we believed that it was boiled with water.. lolx

halfway thru the meal, lots of pple came in for lunch.. seems like it on a convention de.. cos all wearing pass.. suddenly we realised the time that we wen in for lunch was only 11+ then (batam time) haiz... so we have an early lunch.. of what we call it here..

after our lunch, we were quite depressing... over lunch & also it's raining... never the less.. we still wen for a walk... in the rain.. wahahha (we were hoping to get sick in some way i think)

there was an event going on behind the the resort... some pple are singing there...

and the beach is nearby too... saw pple playing watersport there... we walk back to the room after awhile...

while laying around in the room... part open up the balcony door for some puff... & while she was doing that, i on the TV.. & guest wat.. they have HBO, Channel V on their list... but Channel V's image was not that good... as the pic was half here half there... err.. sorry, don't really know how to xplain on this... so instead of watching TV, we listen to TV lor... lolz

i almost doze off then karen scream while jumping on her bed...

"BANANA BOAT!!!.... i wanna sit that... " i almost fainted when i heard that... i was never a water sport person... & i got pulled by her to play this.... it cost S$5 per person & min. 3 person to go... if less than 3, we'll hv to pay for 3 person too.. end up we paid S$7.50 per person for this ride.

the ride was abt 20mins... while we were waiting for our turn... we saw the group of gals when b4 us came back on the boat.. & suddenly they were all fallen into the sea.. (the guy who drove the speed boat did it on purpose, the 2 of us was in shock.. as we didn't prepare oursleves to get all wet!! after we went up on the Banana Boat, Karen told them that she can't swim.. & i saw my spect is at your office so i can't see...

so here we go... the scene was good lar.. (keke i still can see abit lar... altho it's blur a bit)

but the sea water is very saltish... & wen it splash onto our face.. was so painfull... we almost let go.. cos of the speed & the splashes.. but dare not let go also... keke

haiz... so sleepy now... will continue the story tml...

wz the after 180mins spa/ dinner / rubbish food & the Sunday event...

20Jul, Chiuru brought the donuts to work.. YES! It’s from Donut Factory!!
After so long… finally we get to eat it.. & thanks to CK… yesterday, he que for 2hrs just for these donuts… CK.. 辛苦你了。。。谢谢哦！呵呵。。。

I ate the coffee & choco flavour… quite nice.. but the coffee filling is a little bit too sweet…
Hrmmm…. ChiuRu & I also felt that it still loss out to krispy kreme that CK’s fren brought back from Perth...

This is the one i ate that day, so nice... Glazed Blueberry ----->

Haiz…. I miss that donut.. so nice.. I wanna go HKG…
promise to bring my mum to HKG… den 顺便can buy this also ba… kekeke

a gift from CK... also got one magnet lar.. but didn't pic it.. it's on my desk now.. kekeke

The day is finally here…. 18Jul’07

CK is back from Brisbane & this is the day we have plans for welcoming him back!

3weeks ago, we have start planning on how to welcome him back… & JL came out with a suggestion on having a big banner to welcome him like a star…

But of cos due to insufficient of funds, we only manage to get a A1 size mounting board, and we was busy designing it at my hse on 07Jul, when I have my gathering wz some of our X-coleks, after few hrs of hard word… the final piece is completed….

Left office at 7.10pm… was hoping we won’t be late as taking MRT to airport.
We was happily chatting in the train and when it reaches City Hall, a big group of pple came in.. some smell of beer too… I guess those pple are heading to Tanah Merah…
We continue our conversation & suddenly we heard a sound & it’s like “water” pouring onto the floor… & all of our heads turn to the same direction & saw one of those guys vomited… & he is still vomiting.. lolx
The 1st thing that comes to my mind, when we look at each other was… “ Lets get out of the train, we’ll wait for the next train…”

Reach airport at 8.05pm… everyone of us was hoping that the flight would be delay for awhile.. as we atill need to take the sky train from T2 to T1. When we reached there.. we saw that the flight is confirmed & have not landed.. we was so happy.. as we’ll have enough time to setup the things…

PS: JL brought 吡吡糖 too… =)

Tho we are late, we stil waited for awhile there.. & everyone’s look was like…

wow.... saw those pple behide (in white shirt) us abit poor thing.. as their plycard is only A4 size.. and is standing so far away from the door... & ours.. wahahha A1 lor…. & standing directly infront lor...

Finally we saw CK, he is at the other end collecting his luggage & have not notice abt the WELCOME “gift” that we have prepare for him. =)

Well, we believe that he is a litter bit paisey on what we are doing.. but still he act along.. waving his hands at us.. saying THANK YOU!!... & gave Captain a big hug.. (errmmm.. NOT ruru -_-! )

Today (14Jul'07) did some updates on wat i've did this week...

this week only Monday i get to be office... as for rest of the days.... stuck at STC again -_-
& have 2 new khakis for munching... for Tue & Wed was Annie & Mira.. den Thurs & Fri, change from Mira to SL...

Tues, i brought 2 to 3 boxes of pocky to STC.. and everyone got "hook" on this tibits...
Annie was saying that this is very bad.. as will keep on munching...
Even Goerge also join in the pocky munching session.. he commented "wow... this is very addictive.... o.0" & he took a few sticks too... wahahaha =P

By the end of the day, Annie & TzeKeen (aka Jackpot... i find his name sound like it.. try saying it out.. & u'll know.. ) was suggesting to buy more for Wed...

and Jackpot pass me 3 bucks to buy.. & Annie ask me to buy... hrmmm... as per the pic, there i bought... 10 boxes of strawberry pocky & 4 boxes of Choco pocky. Well.. u can calculate how much this 2 pple spend on the pocky this week.. PS: I'm only the helper... help to buy..

When i was at STC everyone say the big plastic bag i hide in my bag.. & was laughing at it...
George can't believe that we bought so many packages too... hahaha
but wen we open it to munch... we saw George was munching it too.... (he was on the phone wz his coleks in Greece... & he walk over to our side & took 2 sticks... & walk away...)
we was laughing on this the whole day... ^-^

PS: this 14 boxes lasted till Friday & left with 2 boxes....

Friday... i wen out with Joy in the evening... she bought a pair of levis jeans & i saw a watch.. black one... very light in weight & cost at $119... it has 2 colors only.. black & white..

but i like the black... this i'll put this in my wish list.. but need to get the model 1st.. wahahhaa...

as usual, we went to buy bread from B1.. our favorite bakery shop to buy

bread... cheese raisin... yummy..!! actually we wanted to que for the dougnut.. but the que was too long... -_- haiz...

went Robinsons to do some shopping... acutally only wanna buy the Water Sleeping Pack Plus from Laneige.. but end up bought 3 things... which was for clearing of pores... & a peel off mask.. with all these... i was given a free bag.. orange color de... will maybe will give to my sis or... may not wanna use it.. as not the color i like.. inside.. there's also some freebies... oh.. Joy also bought 2 products... the consultant there also gave us some extra sample packs... oh, we was the last to do payment that day.. so paisay to the cashier there dat day...

this few days was watching SCV channel 52 & 54...

Lately in Taiwan.. there is this group of pple which is very popular now...

they are from 星光幫... whcih is like our local super star.. & wat suprise me was that.. they really sang very well, all the TV shows they went, they'll need to sing live... & all sang very well... I would say that they really have the talent in them man... tho some are not that good looking.. but their voical are good. 星光幫，加油哦!!---->

a Sad day....
when i reach office today, Annie told me, she passed away last night, i was in shock & didn't know how to react. I was totaly lost at that point of time, i looked at those who knew about her case, everyone was carrying a sad look on them.

I cried, i don't know what i can do now...
the few things that came to my mind was... her kids & her family....
the kids are still so young, and she is still so young too.

I knew I have to face, as GOD took her home to heaven & that's a better place for her.
She will always be an Angel in our heart.

This reminds me of the other person, whom is also suffering too...
And with all these, i don't know why, but it reminds me of the Lords pray that i used to have it in school, it was in my head....

Back date: 05July'07

Was teling Joy.. I've B'come a Strawberry pocky kid...

everytime i go down to STC, I'll defintly have 1 to 2 boxes of it in my bag..

haiz... once system is lagging... will start to munch on food.. lolx

took a cab & reach office at around 6.50pm... (Nana is paying for the cabfare.. as i brought back her planes model for her... lolx... all 5 of them... Juan was joking to say she shud build a hangar for it.. wahaha

Meeting the gals for Yoga.. (Yoga is good, but i'm not at it... I'm the hopeless one.. -__-")

Stan was there... i almost forget who he is when i saw his face.. lolx

cos it's been weeks that i have seen him... hrmmm i think so.. wahhahaa

I was told that he is bring Steph's blue bao bao to Airport to meet up with Steph... wow.. a long journey from office to apt.. Jia You arh.. Stan.. keekeekee

Wah.. today is the date that finally come... the day for my to clear my debts... =) 開心的。。。終于解脫欠債的煩惱了。。

haiz... will have to start my saving again..

Since yesterday afternoon, Gary has been convinced by us (Joy, Juan, Ivy & Me) to go Ka-Soh at sport club to have lunch since it's a happy day...

time check 1.30pm... we left ITD & heading towards Ka-Soh @ SIA Sport Club...

We ordered a $208+++ set meal for 8 pple... (each peson paid $22.10)

1) Shark fin soup,

2) Fish Head wz veg... (not de curry one) ,

3) some veg with Mushrooms (buttons & chinese Mushrooms) ,

4) Roast chicken,

5) Thai Fried Rice,

6) Oat Prawns

7) Fried Dumpling

after lunch.. back to STC back to testing.. same old thing.. system lagging again...

otw back.. JL & I found a new way in/out of the of STC which is faster than walking around the building...

Just found this photo on net.. find it so cute.. but it's like me too fat liao..

think it might be die soon, cos over stuff wz fatz... lolx

Started to slack on writing blogs liao...

haiz.. fall sick again... the 3 ham ham of TW.. (2 have already fallen sick.. which is JL & me...)

today at STC... was like.. (*&%$#!$%#")
system when up & down today.. (yes... again!!!)

best part is... the dates shown at the booking selection & the one shown on the requested date is DIFF... & even.. hotel is DIFF!!!! (some more is diff country's hotel)

had appeared on the same page...

Muz calculate all the pricing for each hotel... 1A, 1A1C, 1A2C, 2A, 2A1C, 2A2C & 3A...

haiz.. all muz test.. but system is TMD slow lor... today.. i only manage to check for 5-6 hotels only... & the BEST part is... SIN got 80 over hotels leh... think i gong gong liao.... Somemore, still sick...

Reach home at 6.15pm... (took cab from STC back home), have din wz my Mummy.. & 7.20pm.. when see doc at Compass Point...

Time Check.. after seeing the Doc.. 8.35pm.. -_-"

30Jun..

Meet Jess @ 2pm to go Orchard walk walk 1st... den @ 5pm we 2 wen for our Spa Pedi session.
(Pearly didn't join us, as she is having a very bad cramp... so have to rest at home...)

4.30pm @ Taka - Jess bought a Braun Büffel wallet for her fren & a cardholder for herself... (the black pig design... ) think SM... u will like it de... wahahhaa

5.10pm @ Cleopatra nail spa - doing Spa Pedi... , using my jie jie's vchr that she won in Jan'07..
hahaha...

(i quite like the Black rystal Chandelier in the shop, but not possble to maintian this in my hse... think will kill myself 1st b4 i ever buy it...)

@ 7.10pm, Daniel & Terence called to inform that we might have to change to some other places for dinner, as we are not able to reach Jumbo @ waterfront (indoor stadium) there in time.
As due to a concert is going on there & also it's the last day for the National Sadium to be there...
tml will be history liao... lolx

so i call the captain Ms "T" to inform that we need to cancel this rsvn there, & need her assistance to block the table in the main brunch @ East Coast. (endup we still went to the same Rest. but locate at diff place.. wahahaa)

so at least go to have my graint crab meal this time... kee kee

Reach Jumbo @ East Coast at about 8.05pm.. so hungry & tired...

5) 1 Chili Crab (2.2kg)
6) 1 Black Pepper Crab (2.2kg)
7) Ice Jelly wz Sea Coconut (ordered by 福哥)

only 大牛 is still munching... 大牛。。加油! 加油! 加油! 嘻嘻嘻]

was chatting away now... den someone have the Gatsby advertisement song which was on TV... (the one with 木村拓栽代言one...) while playing it... 大牛was doing the hand movement thingy, that was also on TV.. 哈哈哈... we really have a good laugh for this meal... forget to get the song from them... will ask from Jess later on...

wow.. the bill was super...
total damage : S$238.75 (after less 10%, also thks to my cousin.. keekee)

PS: the Crab itself alone cost at S$80 per crab ^0^
